Grief Focus Group
Do you feel dragged down by feelings of loss? Do you feel unmotivated, stuck, and as though you are unable to move forward with your life? If so, you may be experiencing grief and loss. The purpose of our grief and loss group is to create a safe, nonjudgmental space for people to come together and share their experiences with grief and form a sense of community. Grief can be extremely isolating, and as facilitators, we understand this and want to create a space to hold these difficult feelings for you. Led by two trauma-informed therapists, you will gain insight, knowledge, and validation and also acquire skills to cope with feelings of loss. An important disclaimer about this group is that you do not need to have experienced the loss of a loved one/friend in order to participate. Grief comes in many forms and can extend to financial loss, termination of a relationship, loss of identity, etc. Please feel free to contact Elyse or Don with any queries regarding fit in the group, or any other concerns.
